Your container arrives at the port. We devan it, sort the freight and put it back on the road the same week. Transloading, break-bulk and deconsolidation are all the same job, and we do it in-house.
From container to delivery-ready
A container full of mixed freight is not a shipment yet. It is a job. We take it off your hands: the box comes to our Surrey facility, our crew strips it, sorts the freight by destination, palletises and wraps it, and stages it for delivery.
You will see this service called several things. Transloading usually means moving freight from a container into a highway trailer. Devanning, or container unloading, means emptying the box. Deconsolidation, also called break-bulk, means splitting one container into separate shipments for separate consignees. We do all of it, under one roof, on one invoice.
Because we also run the trucks, there is no second vendor and no second invoice. Freight destined for Vancouver, Calgary, Seattle or Portland simply moves onto the right trailer.

Common questions
What is the difference between transloading and break-bulk?
Transloading moves freight from a sea container into a highway trailer so it can carry on by road. Break-bulk, also called deconsolidation, splits one container into separate shipments for different consignees. We do both, and most jobs are a mix of the two.
What container sizes can you handle?
20 ft, 40 ft and 45 ft containers, floor-loaded or palletised. Devanning is done by our own warehouse crew, not a subcontractor.
Can you store the freight after unloading?
Yes. Freight can go straight into our Surrey warehouse until you are ready for it to move.
Do you deliver the freight afterwards?
Yes. We deliver across BC and Alberta, and cross-border into Washington, Oregon and Idaho on our own trucks.
